These men are running for the presidential nomination from the Democratic Republican Party.
Each of these men would be a good candidate for president, they all look to address problems that have arisen after the War of 1812.
These men are great candidates for President in the Election of 1816.
They are riding the strength of their political party after James Madison, another Democratic Republican, lead the country to victory in the War of 1812. They will confront the problems that have arisen in the wake of the war.
They will focus on the reconstruction of the nation's capital after it being burned to the ground in the war of 1812.
These men will also stress the importance of getting women their political influence.
Alongside these men were women who indirectly supported the Democratic Republican cause.
Women altered their private lives so much that it affected the political climate.
Women supported their husbands partisan views while still managing to take care of the home.
Mercy O. Warren and Judith S. Murray were just a few of the women that were more direct with their approach.
These two spoke publicly about their views on key issues.
When you vote remember that the Democratic Republican party has already won the War of 1812 and will continue to bring progress and change to American for the next four years.
